5 Delicous Champagne Cocktails
By AlmostLola
Introduction
True champagne comes from an appellation d'origine contrôlée (a controlled designation of origin) in France and is made out of pinot noir and chardonnay grapes. Wines produced outside this Champagne region may be made out of the same type of grapes but are called Methode Champenoise.
There are five different styles of champagne. A little bit of sweetness is added to a brut champagne to remove the dryness. Extra sec signifies a dry champagne while a sec is a medium-sweet champagne and demi-sec is a sweet champagne. A rosé champagne consists of a Champagne region red wine blended with a white wine.
Champagne is perfect to celebrate the ringing in the New Year, wedding, and special occasions. When you use it to mix a cocktail, it then befits any occasion.
